Did fbg duck gun jam5/6/2023 Thats just my opinion/view anyway from all the information we have. Whoever it was obviously did it because they had means to do so at hand (guns, cars etc.) otherwise nobody would have taken that risk downtown. My feeling is that he was most likely killed by indirect opps/people associated with the other-side that he did not know. The only option I would consider is maybe some lowkey 757 members but even aint convincing to me. If it was really “DQ” (like people say) or any of the Oblock/600 members its highly unlikely he would be waiting there for them to spin the block, especially while knowing he was lacking/outnumbered with one girl. My thing is if they was really “Opps” like people say (Oblock/600/757) there is no way Duck would be standing OUTSIDE to get in the store knowing that opps who could potentially kill him are local. This is when the two vehicles pull up shooting him dead and also shooting the man who was standing behind him in the queue (the guy who people think set him up). Feeling something was wrong Duck supposedly asked to go behind the counter and the lady did not let him in fear for her own life/the stores safety.Īfter the altercation he goes to the Dolce and Gabanna store around the corner and is queuing up outside to get in the store, due to social distancing rules. The story goes he was in the Milano store downtown shopping for his son’s birthday when some dudes came up to him asked for a picture. Here is to hoping that his associates and fans respect his mom’s wishes.Idk if its just me but its pretty obvious by now that it wasn’t any direct opps that killed FBG Duck. “I am asking that his fans, friends of my son, to please not seek retaliation in the death of my son,” said LaSheena Weekly. Her stance may also be influenced by Duck being her second son to die by gun violence. Weekly pledged that her son was a good father who took care of his kids, and on that basis, she has pleaded with his associates to not avenge his death. According to his mom, he also had “a record deal with Sony Records.” Ms. While she may not have been aware of the shots FBG Duck was administering in his songs, she was aware that he had just landed a deal with James Prince’s Rap-A-Lot Records. “She must ain’t seen his last video he just dropped,” said the fan about FBG Duck’s taunting of his rivals’ dead associates on “Dead B*tches.” One fan highlighted a line from his track “Right Now,” in which he proudly confessed, “I got guns all thru my momma house.“ Meanwhile, another questioned if she was made aware of his last release. ![]() Comments from fans on social media painted a different picture from his mom’s comments and mentioned that Duck’s image on social media was more aligns with what was said by the Mayor. However, Mayor Lightfoot was not the only one who shared sentiments the rapper being a gangster. Those words arrived on the heels of Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s comment about Duck, whose real name is Carlton Dequan Weekly, being someone who “fancies himself as a rapper, but is also a member of a gang.” ![]() “And I am asking his family, fans, and friends not to buy into them vicious attacks.” ![]() “To assassinate his character as if he was this gang-banging thug running around Chicago terrorizing communities is an outright lie,” said the rapper’s mom during his funeral proceedings. According to the rapper’s mom LaSheena Weekly, the rapper was actually not involved in any sort of gang activity. FBG Duck was on the verge of signing a major record deal before he was killed in Chicago.Ĭhicago rapper FBG Duck was gruesomely gunned down in the city’s Gold Coast area nearly a week ago, in what is perceived to be a gang-related assassination.
